I "met" Rania while yearning for her Saint Francis Triptych. She was so gracious to answer all my questions with earnest. And of course I just HAD to buy. She didn't know that he was my favorite Saint! Since then I have enjoyed her art through various beautiful pieces - all treasures. Now I have THIS! I understand that Saint Brendan is called The Voyager because of his seven year long journey for Paradise. And he founded a monastery as well. And if that isn't really enough, he graces my home in all his splendor as only Rania can paint. Splendid and many, many thanks!
Ms Kuhn is a character of the highest order on all levels: personally, artistically, and professionally. Her work as a painter is both engaging and endearing in its artistry and tenderness. Its childlike quality givs it both a creatively folkloric ambiance as well as the now internationally recognised atmosphere of what has been termed 'outsider art' with its draw on primary sources. It is an art that seeks to communicate and to interact with the world around it, bringing beauty and celebration in its wake.
Her website is a good representaion of her work and should be accessed for the fine sense it gives of her artistic output.

I absolutely love my beautiful little icon of Jesus the Shepherd- the sweet faces of the sheep make me so happy every time it look at it. The artist clearly put a lot of love and care into her work and I look forward to buying more of her special pieces in the future!
